I Am On The Twitter

So, I finally succumbed and decided to get into The Twitter thing. It’s actually pretty cool and I’m enjoying the vacuous nature of it. The most exciting thing was checking out the suggested users bit and seeing people like Arnie, John McCain (yeah, it must be a Republican thing), Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton (maybe it’s a Star Trek thing too… and yes, Geordie is still alive) et al. It’s a cool concept to be able to see what they’re up to in their day-to-day lives and feel some sort of strange, interwebbed connection to them. The reality is that they don’t give a shit about that and their lives are just as boring as everyone elses most of the time. But don’t let that put you off following me on Twitter! Plug inc.

Twitter Is Down!

… and now the entire site has come down.

… and now it’s back up.

Must be a fun day to be a developer at Twitter.
