Below is my history of MMORPGs. I’ve tried to be as accurate as possible and include character names and levels whenever I can. Note that sometimes I subscribe to several MMOs at once (or tried one for the first 30 days whilst playing another) so that explains any overlapping time periods. Also, in some of the games that I’ve played for particularly long periods of time (EQ and EQ2) I’ve got/had numerous alts which I don’t care to mention here.

If you like EvE Online, and the post apocalyptic theme, you should check “Fallen Earth”. Nice MMO story !

  7. Kizzie Street says:

You may not have come accross the MMO with the steepest learning curve, its a bitch, but the whole 9 yards is one Shard. ie, everyplayer in the world meets in the same server. Unlike WoW with little servers, Eve-Online has one, and you pit your abilities against people from every nation.

Eve-online uses the Islandic Currency as the ingame currency, Isks.

  8. Dany says:

Nice experience mate, you are real mmo gamer.
